Mr. Hove has been practicing criminal law in the Bay Area since 2000. He has handled all types of criminal cases as a former prosecutor and defense attorney. His almost two decades of experience in the courtroom, has earned Mr. Hove the reputation as one of the Bay Area’s most aggressive, successful and effective criminal litigators. His background as a former prosecutor and trial attorney combined with his expertise in a wide range of criminal cases has earned him media coverage in numerous Bay Area publications.

Mr. Hove was hired as an Assistant District Attorney for the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and then he was hired by James P. Fox as a Deputy District Attorney in the San Mateo County District Attorney’s Office. While serving as a prosecutor for over seven years, Mr. Hove handled almost every type of criminal case and prosecuted cases involving sex crimes, homicides, criminal street gang cases, embezzlement, hate crimes and major narcotics cases.

Since leaving the District Attorney’s office in 2007, Mr. Hove has formed his own practice and has dedicated his career to assisting those who need help in the courtroom and at jury trial when they are charged with crimes in California.
